(wow - only $60 for you?? Over here, they're like $500 - 600! Paul is a terrible night grinder and he actually got one made = but then he never used it! He tried and just coulnt' get used to the sensation and kept gagging and just couldn't do it - so it was a complete waste of money. So I have ot say, I'm leery now about spending that much money on myself. I am just trying to cope with it using mindpower! :-) Before I fall asleep, I stick my tongue between my teeth and repeat to myself many times, "Don't Clench!" - it does seem to work a bit in that since I started doing that, I have clenched less at night. During the day, I just have to catch myself doing it and stop myself in time! :-)

Mainly, it's finding another way to deal with stress, I think - unfortunately, this seems to be the way that my body chooses to do it!

Hsin-YiAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09116997529248428606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3086918209176708024.post-36527836752347268662012-04-07T06:49:07.823-05:002012-04-07T06:49:07.823-05:00I had that when I was your age too. I still grind and clench my teeth, but I seem to have outgrown the TMJ issues in my thirties.

Mango MommaDexterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09238751458587219022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3086918209176708024.post-61626872156753872522012-04-05T17:12:38.874-05:002012-04-05T17:12:38.874-05:00I have had some minor TMJ problems. I don't know enough about it to really help, but I definitely think the mouth guard is the way to go. It seemed to help my sister out quite a bit. Good luck. Hope you are feeling better soon.Paint Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05095673661149903754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3086918209176708024.post-45106744894527617052012-04-05T05:50:35.457-05:002012-04-05T05:50:35.457-05:00Nightguards help a lot with that - they do help wi...Nightguards help a lot with that - they do help with the clenching and also protect your teeth from getting damaged by grinding.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
