Jackal the Great Snake Hunter

Here are some really cute pictures I took of Jackal...

 I caught him yawning, but it looks like he's about to eat a dandelion lol.

I LOVE his expression!

While taking pictures Jackal went on alert with his cute growly bark.  He was leaning forward and sniffing something....

A beautiful snake!  Don't worry it's not poisonous.

This is as close as I let him get.  It wasn't acting aggressive, but better safe than sorry.

30 Before 30 - #11 Complete

I'm going to call number eleven on my 30 Before 30 list complete.  Number eleven is learn more about photography.  I've learned a LOT!!  I actually know what ISO, aperture and shutter speed do and how they effect one another.  I still have a ton to learn about photography, but I definitely think I have the basics grasped and I'm having fun playing with it.  Here are some pictures I took recently at a formal garden that I visited.  It was a loooong drive, but totally worth it.  :D  Sorry about the lines.  I'm paranoid I know lol.

 

 

 

 

 

I'll share more soon.  I took over 300 pictures and I have 100 I want to share, but I don't want to post that many all at once lol.  :)

Busy.... and random pictures!

 I've been soooo busy, but I have managed to do some training this last week with Jackal.  All we've worked on is recalls, heeling, stays and just reviewing other tricks he already knows.  I haven't worked on anything new really.  Oh and we did all of that outside.  :D  It's nice to have a fenced yard we can proof in.  I'll try to work with him more and update more I promise.  The good news is we're putting insulation up in our new house.  Won't be long before we're hanging sheet rock.  I can't wait!  I'll try to get pictures of it soon.

 I LOVE this new stone table and benches my dad bought for my mom.  :D  Jackal looks cute on them huh?

And the ducks drying off after playing in the pond.

 

 The lighting wasn't great on those two, but I love the challenge of trying to catch them right as they flap their wings.  :D
