These pictures were before we moved Jasper to the buck pasture. They are soooo filthy!!! I will NEVER use those molasses protein tubs again. The buckets are so much cleaner.
Dottie was so cute flirting with Jasper, rubbing her face on his neck.
I wish this wasn't blurry. Taz was leaving the little feeding pen we have set up (so the goats can get in, but not the horses) and he stopped halfway through to look back over his shoulder. So cute.
I love how they still group up with their kids during nap time. Topaz is on the left with Taz and Tanzanite and Garnet is on the right with Andesine and Champ. They are all so adorable. Since these were their first kids it makes me wonder how their relationships will change when they have their second set of kids next year... it will be interesting to see.
Coral is getting so much better about being near us and not running away!! In both the picture above and the one below hubby was crouched down taking pictures with his cell phone with no zoom. She was less than six feet away in the top picture and had to be as close and two or three feet in the picture below. I'm so surprised she doesn't even get up, much less run away anymore. For those who may not know she was basically feral when we got her a year and a half ago.
Hubby can even touch her during feeding time because everyone is in such close proximity in the barn. She still doesn't like it, but she's getting used to it.
Last one is Champ and Taz investigating a bucket during a romp in the front yard. Hubby let them have some free time before moving them to the buck pasture on Thanksgiving day. :) That's all for now. I need to get some sleep.
