These pictures are horrible (wrong time of day and wrong direction for lighting) but I had to share anyway. As soon as it turns cold outside, after I turn Storm outside to pee and then call her to come back inside, she very slowly lays down while holding eye contact with me... almost as if she's thinking, 'Yes I know you're calling me, but it's cold outside and I'm going to lay out here and enjoy it no matter how much you complain'. She's twelve and a half years old so I sometimes let her get away with it hehe. It's so cute in a very disobedient way. The picture below is adorable. She was asleep and I was walking by so she just twisted her head around to look at me without getting up. Silly girl. She likes to soak up some sunshine when it's cool enough not to melt while doing it. :D And yes she's shedding like crazy and I really need to brush her!
ha! my Border Collie does this too. He also has this way of sitting and staring at the house willing me to come outside and do something!

ReplyDeleteDogs have a way of knowing when they can be both naughty and totally adorable at the same time. It doesn't matter what kind of frowny face you might make or fake stern voice, she knows you're smiling inside.
