My mom mentioned a book challenge she was doing this year and I love the idea so much I'm going to do it too! Here is the list.

Some of these will be easy like read a mystery, because that's what I'm reading right now, but some of these will be hard!! If any of you have suggestions for the hard ones such as a play (something other than Shakespeare?), a graphic novel or a first book by a popular author (who the heck is popular??) feel free to share them! I'm going to try to read only books I've never read before, so that makes it a little more difficult because I've read a LOT of books! Anyway I'm really excited about trying this! Let me know if you decide to as well.

ReplyDeleteDid you know that at least in Finland this year is the year of books :) (I don't know if this is globally thing or just a Finn thing...). We have a quite similar challenge for the year (with some different parts in it). I thought about taking the challenge but I don't know, I have so much books to read for my school already :/ Sure some of them would fit perfectly in the list but I would like to choose those books especially for the challenge. I also thought that maybe I could just read the books from the categories I've never read yet. For example, in Finnish challenge, I've never read books from anyone who has similar initials with me or I think I've never read a book that was published in my birth year.

If you have the time you should try it! It's been a lot of fun and I've read books I never would have tried otherwise. You don't have to finish the challenge or stress about it. Just do it for fun! :D
