New Kids On The Block

We let the new kids out in the barn/yard to get some fresh air (previously they were in the birthing stalls) and I finally got some pictures without the pesky red light from the heat lamps.  Some of them are still blurry because it's normally late when I get home and low light with cell phones and fast moving baby goats just don't mix.  Regardless, enjoy the pictures of these cuties!!

First up Amethyst's twins!

The eldest boy.

The younger boy.  He has blue eyes like mom.

 So cute!

They love king of the mountain and headbutting each other off the pallet.

These guys are too cute for words!  I absolutely adore them!

Amethyst is so funny.  She likes to stand in the feeder, but she was worried about her kids so she stepped down to sniff them and check on them.  It was hilarious watching her get back into the feeder without jumping down.

I wish this wasn't blurry.  How often do they all look at the camera at once??  They are an adorable family and Amethyst is impressing us daily with how amazing of a first time mom she is.  I'm so proud of my girl.

We've taken to calling these little midgets the Mighty Mights because nothing scares them! I swear I want to name one of them Mighty Mouse.... so bad!  :D

Next up are Georgia's kids.  They are a little skittish and were hiding from the other moms under the feeder so it was hard to get very many pictures of them.

Georgia wasn't happy when I got too close to her kids.

Her buckling is so long legged.  He's going to be big!

Her little doeling has marbled blue eyes like Daniel.

Little man finally came out from under the feeder and was posing adorably.

This picture was taken right before she attacked our cat OrangeJello.... he's fine lol.

Last are LeeAnn's twins.  I didn't get many pictures because she kept taking them off out into the pen.

The doeling is the bigger one on the left.

The boy is such a chunky boy.

He has Jasper's signature spot on his shoulder just like Champ and Garnet's eldest triplet.

That's all for now.  The weather is crap today, but hopefully tomorrow I can get some updated pictures.  These are from several days ago.  I want to get pictures of the other kids too.  They have all gotten so big!!

P.S.  I almost forgot!  Here is a picture of Zephyr and her girls.

Yes I called Sandia her girl even though they aren't related.... Sandia has been nursing from Zephyr even though Z hates it.  The problem is when Zephyr tried to get away from her she locks up and can't move and then Sandia can nurse for a few seconds before Zephyr's unlocks and can get away.  So earlier this week we moved Zephyr to a different pen so we can officially wean both Sapphire and Sandia!  They weren't happy but they are settling down quick.
