Deer Tracker

Jackal impressed me this morning! Thanks to their barking we went outside and met our neighbor who'd shot a deer with a bow and was tracking it. He'd followed the blood trail to our lease land, so we decided to take Jackal with us to help find the deer. We showed Jackal the blood trail and he went crazy sniffing the area. He finally started to follow a trail and led us right to the thicket where she was. I didn't have a camera and had to hurry off to work so I didn't get a picture. The one above is a random picture from Google. I was so proud of Jackal. Maybe our squirrel dog would prefer to be a deer dog hehe. :)
