Update

I think I'm going to take a break from blogging for a couple of days. Things are so stressful and getting worse by the minute (husband may get denied for long term disability for his back injury because of lazy doctor notes). Good news is that we did find a home for Sycamore (goat) because he isn't happy without companionship. Also an update on Chrome he was following me around the lease land, galloping around and being totally silly so the leg isn't bothering him at all! The swelling has gone down, but the puncture wound is draining white (occasionally yellow) . . . ooze (doesn't sound as gross as puss lol). I called the vet because the ooze was concerning me, but he said it isn't a big deal since he's still sound. He said if the wound is still oozing when we finish the antibiotics that we will extend it just to be on the safe side. So on the injury front things are the same (or hopefully getting better), I just wish life in general would improve. Anyway sorry to be a downer. I'll be back in a few days. Everyone take care.

  2. Please keep pressure on the doctor and his/her office staff regarding the disability. A coworker and I shared appeals cases at my former employer, she did disabilities and I did all others. Often she was contacting and re-contacting doctors to get them to submit the information required by statute and rule that would allow her to grant the benefits. It was frustrating all around knowing the claim was likely legitimate but lacking certain documentation to support the decision. So keep at it -- as frustrated and exhausted as you must be.

  3. Oh so sorry to hear about all the stressful things!! I agree with keeping up the pressure on the doctor though. One of our blog friends recently left a great comment: "the squeaky oil always gets the grease" and I thought that's so true!

Anyway, just want you to know that I'm thinking of you -

  4. I am sorry to hear things aren't going well, I will agree with Honey the Great Dane. I put up a post this month on that same topic. Keep insisting and pushing and don't take no for an answer. You are your best offense, fight hard and don't give up. Good luck and I hope things get better for you soon.
