Quick Update

I took half (sensitive to medications) a muscle relaxer last night and it helped me sleep, but I did wake up every time I had to turn over. And I flop around like a dead fish at night so it wasn't just two or three times. However I feel good so the muscle relaxer probably kept me sleepy enough that it didn't really affect me. I think flipping and flopping actually helped me out because I'm not nearly as sore this morning as I was expecting. It's really bruised and painful to touch, but I have full use of my arm and neck. :D I just have to remember not to kneel on my knee, which I keep doing, because that hurts! So just wanted to let everyone know I'm doing okay.

  2. Sorry to hear about your fall. Your description of it made me shudder with sympathy pains. When I was 21 I was involved in a car accident in which my head went through the windshield and I was knocked unconscious. The ambulance didn't take me to the hospital because they had a more serious injury at a different call, so I just got a ride home. In the days after, the pain got worse and worse until I went to my regular doctor, sure I broke something, but it all just turned out to be internal and external bruising, mostly to my ribs and lungs.

I bet Hubby enjoys the flopping...

  6. Glad you aren't feeling as bad as you expected, hopefully you can bounce back quickly. Drugs can help so much sometimes and can be such a hindrance other times. Hope you find the balance that works for you.

  7. Glad to hear you're doing OK!

I've never had much use for muscle relaxers. A good, stiff drink does the same thing and tastes better!
