Feeling Better - Picture Update

"Hey Mom! Are you coming?"

Here is the photo proof that Chrome and Zeppelin feel better that I promised. :) They had a ball yesterday. We had a storm blowing by (barely missed us so no rain unfortunately) so the wind was blowing and it was overcast. It felt wonderful since we're back up to 106F heat index again. Enjoy!

"You can't see me."

Stallion Play

Stretching his legs.

Really stretching his legs lol. Doesn't he look like a racehorse all leaned over sideways? :)

Elvis lips.

I wish a bush hadn't been in the way for the next two pictures because they turned out so nice.

Zep doesn't want to be left behind.

Horse heaven!

Even Aslan got to join the fun. He went straight to the pond. :)

Zep went over to say hi to his old buddy Kudzu, but the goat didn't remember him.

Kud ran to Aslan for safety and they trotted off to explore together.

Chrome and Zep coming back to me after a running, bucking race.

Chrome chasing poor Kudzu.

And my favorites below.

  1. Great news that they are still feeling fine. I’m sure you were a wreck with worry. I know how I get. They both look so good. I’m glad you were able to get that property for them to play on. They look like they are having so much fun!

I’m glad you have enjoyed reading about Cole’s training. It has been a challenge for me, but fun at the same time. He is always surprising me. When I bought him, he had had a saddle on, but that’s it. It’s hard to believe that so much has happened and it hasn’t even been 3 months, yet. I believe he is going to be a great horse for me.

And yes, it is hard to spend time training him when all I want to do is look at him. The first time my sister saw him, she said, “Can’t we just keep him to look at?” Fortunately, I am immune to his beauty when I ride him and can only see the top of his neck.

Using the clicker has really been helpful. There have been times when he seemed just clueless, and the clicker was able to tell him he was doing the right thing. I’m so glad I discovered it.

I hope you get some cooler weather, soon.

  2. It looks like the new land has made a huge difference. Everybody out and running around together and having a grand time.

    Slobbers,
    Mango

P.S. Good news that nobody got sick from their big adventure.
