Thank you for your kind comments. I am happy to report that my back did much better today at work. It still hurt but it wasn't bad enough to make me want to cry. And today was delivery day so I was putting stock away. I got some cream to rub on it which seems to help. I didn't take any ibuprofen today at all. I did take Tylenol Sinus though because I had a killer sinus headache. Maybe the Tylenol in that helped better than the ibuprofen.
I'm definitely continuing to take it easy. All I did today was take a short walk out onto the lease land because our neighbor finished brush hogging it yesterday and I fed the critters. I obviously can't avoid all lifting at work but I am being more aware of twisting and turning and lifting things. I never realized how quickly I move. I'm like a busy busy little bee darting around all over the place. I had never even really noticed before that I rush through things. This is really making me step back and do things slower.
I did take my muscle relaxer last night so that probably is the biggest difference since I didn't take one the night before last. I just hate that drugged feeling. I overslept an hour and it took two hours to really get woken up and moving around. I think I'm going to take it early tonight and I'm still only taking half of one.
Anyway I'll try to get back to posting fun, happy stuff soon. I can't wait to get some pictures of the turkeys. They are so friggin cute!! They're starting to look like miniature grown up turkeys hehe. You'll see. :)
Hope you continue to improve - there's nothing worse than back pain!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear your back is giving you less trouble. I know when I hurt mine I had no idea how simple every day jobs used my back...until it hurt doing them!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the lovely comments you left on my blogs :)
Yeah, the muscle relaxers really pack a punch, but the rest is good for your back.

I just caught up. Sorry about your back. Those Led Zeplin pictures are fabulous. Hope you try my recipe. It is so easy and you can put in whatever veggies you choose. Let me know how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteFeel better!
Glad you are feeling better! Now just don't over do it and make it worse! That's usually what I end up doing whenever I hurt myself.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like what I am doing with Cole. I get to make all the mistakes, and you get to learn from them. So far, things have been going pretty good. His trot is just so powerful, yet I still haven't figured out how to post it because it is smooth at the same time.
My sister did take some video, but she is still trying to figure out how to get it to me. I am very frustrated because I only got to see it on the little screen on her camera.
This weekend, weather permitting, I will take Cole on 3 trail rides. I am so excited.
We sure hope you get feeling better! It's no fun not being able to do everything you want to do!
