Equine Video & Crawl Update

I promise I am working on getting a video update of our crawling progress with Jackal. I've been so busy that I haven't worked on it much, so I think I'm going to work on it this month and then we can vote on a new one in February.

I also got a video of Chrome and Zep that you just have to see. Chrome has been really ugly (toward Zep) at feeding time and he's learned how to back into Zep to move him away from the feed shed. Thankfully he hasn't learned how to kick yet, but an 800 pound horse backing into a 300-400 pound donkey is pretty effective even without kicking. This video shows Zep getting paybacks. :D

On a side note, did you notice how well Chrome is picking up his rear legs since my new trimmer worked on him? I think correcting the angles, especially in the club foot, is going to help with his weird gait. :)

  1. That's pretty funny. I put my horses together without their blankets yesterday, and anytime they reunite in the same location, they get really silly. They put on an entire ballet for me and I was wishing I had my video camera, but going back into the house requires removing my boots. I figured they'd be done by the time I got back out with the camera.
